Light is emitted towards the center of the ring system with a small inclination, which makes the lighting be uniform and avoids brightness while allowing the highlighting of edges, cracks and deep cavities. 

This lighting type allow us, using the system at a low position with a small angle regarding the surface, to highlight surface defects, cracks and fissures, and this way, identify and read surface engravings.

Moreover, this kind of light avoids reflection in specially reflecting elements such as metal, plastics or glass. As we increase working distance, the incidence angle over the piece increases too, eliminating textures and keeping reliefs visible.

The diffuse and homogeneous light emitted by this system shows the edges as uniform white lines, which makes measuring and detection easy.
